My Story and Aspirations
Welcome to Natural Instinct by Nessa. My goal is to share with you my handmade all natural, vegan and sustainable products to not only benefit your health but also the health of the planet through the elimination of chemicals and excess packaging. I originally enjoyed making these products for myself and family before thinking what a great idea it would be to share them with you and create a small, local community based business without the business agenda.
Both ingredients and packaging are sustainable with zero waste options (20% discounts for all refills) and contain only high quality, natural plant based and vegan ingredients. Each product comes in a beautiful amber glass bottle (few exceptions for safety) which minimises the use of plastics in your home as well as improving the longevity of the product, and allowing you to keep the same bottle for years to come. I believe sustainability should go beyond just recycling, but ultimately should be about reusing and reducing waste in the first place, whether that be electing to refill rather than buying a new bottle where practical, or up-cycling the old bottle for another purpose in your home.
I hope to inspire as many people as possible to use the power of plants in everyday life rather than the many harsh chemicals and materials that are used in standard cleaning and body products. I make all my products using minimal ingredients with powerful benefits and as a result my labels are easy to read and even contain a 'plant properties' section to educate and empower you about what is going into your home and onto your body. Building upon this minimalist approach I endeavour to make each element of my business as sustainable as possible, which means offering honest pricing to make these products accessible. It is surprising how little we really need, and how complex some labels make cleaning and body products sound when nature provides us with everything we need and if we utilise its powers we can unlock its true potential.
I source all my ingredients and packaging in Australia, the majority locally right here in Victoria.
